The target URL is the permanent URL of the object being rated. If you are rating a product, make it the main product page. If you are rating a blog post, make it the permalink to the post. If your object is rated high enough to make our winners circle, we'll link to it using this URL. The URL Mask defines the range of valid URL's from which votes will be accepted. This will prevent others from polluting your ratings. If you make this mask overly broad, votes will only be counted from URL's exactly matching the target URL string. You can leave it all blank. In that case the Target URL will be set to whatever URL the user is visiting when the stars are displayed. This will work well for product pages, but certain blog sites that display the same story with several different url's may end up rating each version separately. Leaving the options blank will not work well on sites that commonly place Session ID's in URL's.
